At CI&T, we help large enterprises transform the potential of AI into real business impact with AI Deployment, AI-native execution, and tech-integrated business solutions.
With 30 years of experience in technological transformation, we accelerate innovation with expertise in Agentic SDLC, Application modernization, Data & AI, Martech and Business strategy.
We are 8,000 CI&Ters across more than 25 countries, collaborating to build solutions with real impact. AI is already part of how we work, evolve, and innovate every day.
We are hiring a Senior QA Engineer to support a healthcare insurance technology initiative. The project helps companies manage customer applications for underwriting, enrollment, eligibility, and policy-related workflows.
In this role, you will combine hands-on quality assurance with AI-driven test automation. You will work closely with developers and senior engineering leaders to ensure the application works correctly, validate complex business processes, and integrate AI testing tools into the team’s delivery workflow.
You should be self-sufficient, analytical, and comfortable testing different parts of an application — user interface (UI), APIs, data, and system integrations. You do not need experience with a specific testing tool; we will onboard you to the team’s existing AI-driven test suite.
What You Will Do
Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to create effective testing strategies
Create, maintain, and run test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios
Test application behavior across UI, API, data, and system integration layers
Design test scenarios for complex workflows (enrollment, eligibility, underwriting, and data exchanges)
Identify, document, track, and verify bugs in collaboration with developers and stakeholders
Support API testing, data validation, and integration testing across connected enterprise systems
Learn and use the team’s AI-driven test suite in day-to-day testing
Use AI-assisted testing practices to improve test design, coverage, and defect analysis
Set up and maintain automated regression testing in CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with developers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Document test results, bugs, risks, and quality status clearly
What You Need to Know
Professional experience in software QA or quality engineering (preferably at a senior level)
Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision
Strong experience in test planning, test case design, execution, and bug management
Experience testing web applications, REST APIs, and system integrations
Understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing methods
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and automated regression suites
Experience validating data and working with SQL or relational databases
Familiarity with Agile delivery, Git (version control), and CI/CD concepts
Practical experience using AI tools responsibly in QA activities
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Advanced English skills for both spoken and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI-driven testing tools or AI-assisted test generation
Experience validating complex, data-intensive enterprise applications
Exposure to Salesforce, MuleSoft, IBM enterprise systems, or similar integration platforms
Experience in healthcare, insurance, enrollment, eligibility, or policy administration
Experience with automated testing in CI/CD pipelines and continuous quality practices
What Success Looks Like
Establishing reliable test coverage for critical application workflows and integrations
Identifying defects and risks early in the development lifecycle
Successfully learning and using the team’s AI-driven test suite in daily work
Improving regression testing efficiency and consistency
Providing clear visibility into application quality and readiness for release
Working effectively with developers and senior engineers to deliver stable, high-quality software
