Camtek is seeking an experienced Applied AI Research Team Leader to spearhead our AI research initiatives. This role involves leading a team of skilled researchers to develop cutting-edge AI solutions that enhance our product offerings.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of AI researchers in developing innovative AI algorithms.
Oversee the entire research lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products.
Drive strategic planning and execution of AI projects.
Ensure the team stays updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies.
Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of research outputs.
Requirements
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI research and development.
Proven track record of leading AI research teams.
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with AI frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Experience in deploying AI solutions in real-world applications.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
