THE ROLE

We’re looking for a hands-on AI leader who will help shape how Bridgewise uses AI to build software and run the business, from AI agents in our development pipeline to workflows in Sales, Customer Success and Finance. Alongside that, you’ll lead an innovation track that turns promising ideas into working prototypes quickly. You’ll build and lead a team of AI engineers, report directly to the CTO and work closely with leaders across the company.

You’ll have room to choose tools and run experiments, and since AI is at the core of our product, your work will show up in the tools our engineers use every day, in how our business teams work, and in new capabilities in our product.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in software engineering, including experience leading engineers, formally or as a tech lead

  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI agents. We’d love to see something you’ve built: a repo, a demo, an internal tool or a write-up

  • A deep understanding of the full development lifecycle, cloud, APIs and CI/CD

  • Experience leading change across teams, including teams that didn’t report to you

  • The ability to move from idea to working code quickly, and to know when something is ready to test

  • Clear communication with developers and executives alike

Responsibilities

  • Shape, together with the CTO, how Bridgewise uses AI, and turn it into a clear, step-by-step plan.

  • Build, lead and grow a team of AI engineers, setting priorities and helping each person do their best work.

  • Evolve our development process with AI: coding assistants and agents that support design, coding, code review, testing, documentation and deployment

  • Build a shared foundation of reusable agents, tools, integrations and guardrails, so teams don’t each reinvent their own

  • Work with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Marketing and HR to rethink real workflows like RFPs, customer onboarding and reporting, rather than adding tools on top of old processes

  • Find and support AI champions in every team, and help new ways of working stick

  • Measure what changes: set baselines, track speed, quality and time saved, and adjust what isn’t working

  • Explore technologies and product ideas that can set us apart in fintech, and turn the promising ones into working prototypes

  • Decide together with Product and Engineering whether a prototype moves forward, gets handed off or stops

Nice To Have

  • Experience in fintech, financial services or B2B SaaS

  • Experience setting KPIs for a technology change and measuring ROI

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
